|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Svrha ovog rada je izrada distribuiranog sustava nadzora i upravljanja kompresorskom jedinicom za komprimiranje prirodnog plina. Distribuirani sustav korišten na postrojenju je ABB 800xA. Kroz rad opisan je tehnološki proces komprimiranja plina i dijelova kompresorske jedinice. Posebna pozornost posvećena je izradi sekvence pokretanja i zaustavljanja kompresorske jedinice. Također, opisana je izrada grafičkog sučelja čovjek-stroj (HMI) za nadzor i upravljanje cijele kompresorske jedinice.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: The purpose of this thesis is to configure a distributed control and monitoring system (DCS) for natural gas compressor unit. The distributed control system used at the plant is ABB 800xA. Throughout the work is described the technological process of gas compression and components of the compressor unit. Particular attention is paid to the start-up and stop sequencing of the compressor unit. Also, a human-machine interface (HMI) is developed for monitoring and managing the entire compressor unit.
