|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Ovaj diplomski rad proučava svojstva, standarde i kapacitete bar kodova te se bavi identificiranjem parametara koji utječu na samu pouzdanost skeniranja 2D bar kodova visoke gustoće sadržaja. U teoriji je 2D simbologija sposobna kodirati relativno velike količine podataka, ali u praksi sposobnost skeniranja bar kodova opada povećavanjem kodiranog sadržaja.
S posebnim osvrtom na bar kodove s više sadržaja (ili kapaciteta) izvedena su testiranja i identificiranja 2D simbologije s najvećom pouzdanosti skeniranja, „sposobnost skeniranja“ (engl. Scan-ability), kao i raznih parametara koji utječu na ovu sposobnost. Rad je podijeljen u pet poglavlja.
U uvodnom dijelu obuhvaćeni su ciljevi i zahtjevi ovog rada, a u drugom poglavlju se opisuje povijest bar koda. Treće poglavlje opisuje rad sa skenerom i njegove karakteristike, četvrto detaljno analizira razne parametre koji utječu na pouzdanost skeniranja 2D bar kodova velikog kapaciteta, dok peto poglavlje opisuje par programa za generiranje i čitanje bar kodova. Šesto poglavlje se fokusira na metodologiju testiranja, a sedmo sažima zaključke testiranja.
Na temelju određenih zahtjeva te uz pronađenu studiju na internetu, rezultati su pokazali kako su najbolje pouzdanosti skeniranja mjerenja od 96% do 99%, a dobiveni su korištenjem PDF417 simbologije s različitim vrstama medija.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: This thesis studies the properties, standards and capacity of bar codes and deals with the identification of parameters that affect the scanning reliability of 2D barcodes high density content. In theory, the 2D symbology is capable of encoding relatively large amounts of data, but in practice the ability to scan bar codes diminishes with increased encoded content.
With special reference to the bar codes with more content (or capacity) test were performed and identification of 2D symbology with the highest reliability scan, "Scan ability", as well as a variety of parameters that affect this ability. The paper is divided into five chapters.
The introductory section covers the objectives and requirements of this work, and the second section describes the history of the bar code. The third chapter describes the operation of the scanner and its features, the fourth analyzes in detail the various parameters that affect the reliability of scanning 2D barcodes high capacity, while the fifth chapter describes a couple of programs to generate and read bar codes. The sixth chapter focuses on testing methodology, and summarizes the conclusions of the seventh test.
Based on the specific requirements and with the studies found on the Internet, the results showed that the best reliability scan measurements from 96% to 99%, were obtained using the PDF417 symbology with different types of media.
