|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: U ovom završnom radu objašnjava se zaštita vjetroagregata od udara munje i prenapona. Opisani su vanjski i unutarnji sustav zaštite od munja. Vanjski sustav zaštite sastoji se od zračnog sustava zaštite i uzemljivačkog sustava. Zračni sustav zaštite se sastoji od hvataljki na lopaticama i gondoli te samog stupa vjetroagregata. Uzemljivački sustav se sastoji od temeljnog uzemljivača i prstenastog uzemljivača. Unutarnja zaštita je organizirana po zaštitnim zonama. Na granicama zaštitnih zona postavljaju se odvodnici prenapona potrebnih karakteristika. U vjetroagregatu se štiti sustav napajanja, signalni sustav i mjerna oprema. Zaštita mora biti besprijekorna jer je ispadanje vjetroagregata iz sustava veliki trošak za vlasnika i problem za stabilnost mreže.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: In this paper lightning protection ond surge protection of wind turbines are explained. Internal end external lightning protection systems are explained. External protection consists of air-termination system and earth-termination system. Elements of air-termination are lightning rods on rotor blades and nacelle and tower of wind turbine itself. Earth-termination is made of foundation earth electrode and ring earth electrode. Internal protection system is organized within lightning protection zones. Boreder of lightning protection zones must be separated with surge protection devices. In wind turbine power supply, information technology system and measurement equipment are protected. Protection must be flawless because disconection of wind turbine from the electrical grid is expensive for owner and is big problem for grid stability.
